Planting Trees in Givat HaKetoret: Honoring Heroes and Strengthening the Land of Israel

Last Friday, we arrived at the Givat HaKetoret neighborhood for a particularly moving tree-planting event. During the event, 90 new trees were planted, strengthening our hold on the Land of Israel in a strategically important location. The trees were planted in memory of Rabbi Ahiyad Ettinger, who was murdered in a terror attack five years ago, and his son, Captain Har’el Ettinger, a hero of Israel who fell in combat in Lebanon while serving with the Egoz Unit.
