Planting Roots of Heroism – Honoring Our Fallen Fighters
ver 200 grapevines were planted in Reihan in memory of four brave warriors who gave their lives in the Iron Swords War. Join us in keeping their legacy alive through planting.
Im Tirtzu is a partner in the farmers’ struggle to preserve the lands of the Land of Israel. The struggle for the land reserve in Judea and Samaria takes place 24 hours a day, independent of the Israeli government and the activities of the security forces.
We are approached by many farmers from Judea, Samaria, the Negev and the Galilee who are struggling to hold on to the land, in the face of hundreds of Arabs from the nearby villages who are sent to the territory to fight for it and win more territory at the expense of the Jewish people. We help them keep Jewish-owned land in the Land of Israel.

According to the data of the Arabic research department of Im Tirtzu, the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) is a Jordanian organization whose main activity is in Israel and seeks to take control of Israel’s territories through planting millions of trees.
The organization established a comprehensive project called “Million Trees in Palestine” and through it, seeks to take control of territories in Jerusalem, the Jordan Valley and Judea and Samaria.
An alarming picture emerges from the organization’s data, according to which it donated 2,434,452 trees, among which 37,000 fruit trees were planted as part of the natural resources conservation project.

In the Judean Desert, near the Hebron Hills and Carmel, we planted trees to strengthen our presence in the land and honor the memory of those who fell defending it.
This planting is dedicated to Harel Massoud, who was murdered in the terrorist attack in Eli, and Maoz Pheningstein, who was killed in the Iron Swords War. Their legacy will continue to grow for generations.
Shai’s father speaks about the deep significance of tree planting as a symbol of resilience, remembrance, and strengthening our hold on the land.
The plantings take place in locations of strategic importance, which have been invaded by elements funded by the Palestinian Authority and European countries in order to establish a stranglehold around the settlements. The plantings are intended to protect the lands from invasions that may prevent future use of the Israeli towns for the purposes of expansion and growth. In some places we also assist in erecting a fence for the location, maintaining the continuity of Jewish-owned land through the planting, enables protection against illegal Arab takeover and even saves human lives. Some places we have planted have even been the sides of highways, where Arabs would come to throw stones at drivers.
The “Haaretz and Malua” farm is located in a super-strategic spot near Nahal Kana, in western Samaria, near the settlements of Barkan and Kir. In this area, there is a very difficult takeover of land in areas C by hostile villages: Qarawat Bani Hassan and Deir Istiya, who are working to connect and suffocate the settlements of Rabba, Barkan, Yakir, and Nofim, and to create an Arab territory which would span from east to west. From the farm itself, you can see the houses being built and closing in on the Jewish settlements in the area. The farm, which is located at the foot of the settlements of Yakir and Yair Farm, controls many kilometers of threatened territory. Through clearing pastures, planting trees, fencing areas, and a constant presence in the field, we help the land stay in the hands of its Israeli owners. The owners of the farm, a couple with children, even live in a truck due to the fear of the Civil Administration not allowing the construction of any permanent structure.
