This past Thursday, we came to Hermesh to plant trees and strengthen Israeli farmers claim to the land.
Hila, who is in a charge of the tree planting project in the area, shared with us her experiences of attacks against their farm. Only a few days before we came to plant, they had been attacked when a bomb was put in the farm, and was detonated while workers were in the field.
By grace all the workers came out uninjured, but this is another example of how important it is to have control over Israeli state land, in order to protect our communities.
