Kiryat Arba-Hebron Joins Forces with Im Tirtzu in Planting Trees to Honor Our Fallen Heroes

We planted trees today in Kiryat Arba-Hebron, in memory of the local fallen who were killed during the fighting - Yochai Duchen, Binyamin Lev, Uri Mordechai Shani, and Elkana Spaz. The planting event was joined by the bereaved families, as well as Eliyahu Libman, father of hostage Elyakim Libman.

In a touching collaboration, the Kiryat Arba-Hebron community has partnered with the Im Tirtzu movement for a poignant tree-planting event. The recent event, held on February 8th, brought together the community to commemorate the courageous warriors, including Lieutenant Uri Shani, Lieutenant Yohaiv Durchan, Binyamin Lev, and Elkana Sepz, who fell in the war in Gaza.

Despite the profound pain experienced by bereaved families, residents of Kiryat Arba actively participated, emphasizing the enduring connection to the land. The initiative symbolizes a powerful response to those who sought to uproot them from their homeland, showcasing resilience and an unwavering commitment to nurture and protect the sacred land of the ancestors.

This heartening collaboration between Kiryat Arba-Hebron and the Im Tirtzu movement, led by Matan and supported by the dedicated youth of the community, showcases a collective effort to strengthen the bonds between the people and the land. A message of gratitude is extended to the Im Tirtzu movement for tirelessly addressing injustices and actively working to fortify the community.

Looking ahead, we invited you to the upcoming tree-planting event on Tuesday, February 13th, at Givat HaTzofe – Sussia, honoring the memory of local warriors.
