New Initiative to Combat Land Theft in Judea & Samaria Bears First Fruits

Earlier this month, our Arab Desk published a report detailing how the Jordanian group APN is working to plant hundreds of thousands of trees in Israeli-controlled Area C of Judea & Samaria in order to steal state land.

Several days after our report, Minister of Community Affairs Tzachi Hanegbi announced a new government initiative to combat illegal land grabs in Judea & Samaria.

This week it was reported that the initiative bore its first fruits after the IDF confiscated dozens of trees illegally planted by APN together with Fatah on state land near Hebron.
