Im Tirtzu Activists Protest Outside the Home of Supreme Court Justice Daphne Barak-Erez: “Supreme Court Judges Are Undermining Israel’s Security”
Im Tirtzu activists gathered to wake up Supreme Court Justice Daphne Barak-Erez, just days after she, along with fellow judges Kasher and Kabub, issued an interim order regarding the living conditions of terrorists in prison.
Earlier this week, Im Tirtzu launched a campaign on bus stations across Tel Aviv, featuring photos of Justices Barak-Erez, Kasher, Kabub, and Ronen with the caption “The Court Against Israel,” protesting the Supreme Court judges’ policies on security petitions and their intervention in state decisions.
The activists called on Barak-Erez to stop interfering with the judgment of professional authorities: “You are undermining the security of the state. Enough with the Supreme Court dictatorship!”
Bnayahu Ben Shabbat, Im Tirtzu’s Task Coordinator, stated: “Justice Barak-Erez harms IDF soldiers, undermines the state’s security, and destabilizes Israel’s immigration policy. The people of Israel are fed up with the Supreme Court’s dictatorship and judges who care for terrorists. We want justice!”
