Dear friends and supporters,
It is not every day that one gets the privilege to influence the Israeli public and realize the Zionist vision in the sovereign state of the Jews, in the Land of Israel.
This privilege now falls into my hands, and I accept it with reverence and holy fear. After years of activity in the Im Tirtzu movement as an activist, a coordinator, and deputy chairman – I now step into the huge shoes Matan Peleg is leaving behind, along with my dear friend Matan Jerafi, as co-CEOs.
I deeply thank Matan Peleg for choosing me for this important position, and for his many years of dedication, leadership, and vision that shaped the movement and made it what it is today – a shining beacon of dedication and action for the people of Israel and the Zionist vision.
I would like to thank my friends Alon Schwarzer and Sheila Barzinski and the Board of Directors of Im Tirtzu, headed by chairman Douglas Altabef, for the trust they placed in me for the appointment to the position.
Im Tirtzu Movement is entering a change of leadership, and yet it is important for me to say that the path on which Im Tirtzu has progressed in recent years will maintain: The Im Tirtzu Movement will continue to fight for the Zionist vision in academia, in law, in the media and in front of State decision makers. We will fight any anti-Zionist and post-Zionist detractors, and we will not be deterred by any threat to the Zionist state.
I call on all of you, friends of Im Tirtzu, and our partners, to trust us even in these challenging times, and help us continue to lead Im Tirtzu to new realms of success and breaking boundaries.
Shai (Yoshua) Rosengarten,
Incoming CEO, Im Tirtzu
